Andres Leguizamon has been successfully coaching and playing Ultimate Frisbee in the Tampa Bay Area since 2006.

In 2007 Andres started the first competitive Coed club team in the Bay Area and as a coach and player they qualified to the Regional Championships every year that he coached.  In many occasions, qualifying by winning the Florida Sectional Championships.

As a player he has also participated in the Masters National Championships in Sarasota, FL andAurora, CO.  In 2014 his team Woolly Mammoth finished 2nd losing in the finals by only 1 point to the Texas team.

During that same year, Andres also played in the World Championships in Lecco, Italy playing with the Colombian Masters team and has been invited to play in Beach Worlds and other World Championships.

In 2018 he helped bringing the Tampa Bay Cannons (professional Ultimate team) to the Tampa Bay Area as a co-owner and Ultimate Marketing Officer.
Andres is an ambassador for the “Spirit of the Game”; a mission that foments and teaches Integrity and Sportsmanship at all levels of the game.
